1. Providde (or describe) and example of unfair or deceptive practices you have seen in Advertising.

 

"Hydroxycut" is a weight loss pill which causes people dehydrate rapidly. This ad is vague about how the weight loss is achieved. The weight loss achieved is not real weight loss but dehydration which is not healthy to pill takers. And the results of taking Hydroxycut are not common, results vary widely. Lastly, the woman in the picture probably dieted and exercised a lot in addition to taking that pill, so taking that pill is probably a smart part of her losing 35 pounds.  But this ad makes readers believe that the pill had a great deal to do with her weight loss, in fact it had very little to do with it.
